Your light

My steps became slow.

My gaze lost in the horizon.

Fatigue mowed my spirit.

My voice struggled to say your name, but only silence.

History has not yet started because it was lost in the memories of your sweet voice.

“You must continue”, It repeated to my soul again and again while it slowly let out the hope of your embrace.

My body had clung to it for so long.

Devise how it was floating in the wind and how I finally walked away in a futile attempt.

I extended my hand trying to recover it, feeling how I began to fade away.

Seconds before falling, I felt your light elevate me to you and rescue me from the abyss of despair and desolation.

“Go ahead, we’re so close” I heard you pronounce right before I disappeared in your eyes.
