 Bulleit 10-Year-Old

Bulleit_10_Bottle_and_Box[1]

Aged in charred American white oak, a select number of Bulleit Bourbon barrels were set aside to age for 10 years to see how the already award-winning bourbon would develop. Bulleit distillers were thrilled to find that the additional years resulted in a special expression of Bulleit bourbon that provides a rich, deep, incredibly smooth sipping experience that maintains the inherent character and high rye content for which the Bulleit brand is best known.

George Dickel Rye Whisky

George_Dickel_Rye[1]

George Dickel Rye is a straight rye small-batch whisky, offering a 95% rye mash whiskey.  In order to provide consumers with the smoothest finish, George Dickel Rye is finished in its signature fashion – chill charcoal mellowing.  This stems from George Dickel’s belief that whisky was smoother in the cold winters than in the hot summers.

George Dickel Barbecue

Did you guys see Kimmel last week? I can’t wait to try this when it warms back up here in upstate NY.

Last week, famed barbecue chef Adam Perry Lang appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to show viewers that whisky and barbecue go hand in hand.

Chef Perry Lang makes his barbecue handmade and with great intention, just like those down in Tullahoma, Tenn. who hand craft George Dickel Tennessee Whisky. A natural pair, George Dickel has the perfect depth and richness to incorporate into barbecue dishes and, since sauce can add so much flavor to barbecue, Chef Perry Lang shared how he created a glaze using George Dickel No. 12. See below for the recipe if you’d like to try the glaze on your own.

Additionally, Chef Perry Lang visited the George Dickel distillery to pick out a special holiday gift for Jimmy Kimmel Live! The gift, a barrel of George Dickel 9-Year-Old whisky, provided a one-of-a-kind whisky to Jimmy and members of the audience. Each barrel varies in taste and provides a unique experience, making this whisky exclusive to the Jimmy Kimmel Live! Show.
